School Programs

Overview

The Financial Literacy for Youth (FLY) Program offers Financial Management and Investment Science courses in Washington, D.C. public and public charter high schools.  Schools provide 15 – 25 students and a classroom; FLF provides a licensed teacher and a first-rate curriculum.  FLF instructors are expected to maintain attendance records, calculate and record grades, attend parent-teacher conferences, and become part of the school community.

FLF partners with schools to offer financial education in the form of:

• Elective Financial Managment Course
• Elective Investment Science Course
• Mandatory Life Skills Training
• Out-of-School Workshop
